Would Jake Paul consider a boxing match with his brother Logan Paul, or would he be inclined to join him for a run with WWE?
I asked Paul about the possibilities of both at the press conference for his fight with Ryan Bourland in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The YouTuber-turned-KO-artist isn’t interested in boxing his older brother, but he loves the idea of them being the WWE Tag Team champions. When I asked the question during the press event, Paul asked aloud,” who would stop us?”
The response drew a smile from his brother, who sat in the front row with their mother. The presser’s host, Ariel Helwani, said he would love to see the Pauls take on the current WWE Tag Team champions the Judgment Day.
Somewhere, Triple H’s wheels might be turning.
I revisited the question along with a few others in a one-on-one interview with Paul an hour after the press conference concluded.
Paul said he and Logan might have considered a boxing match between them when they were young, but not at this stage. With Logan in closer proximity during the follow-up interview, the two brothers had fun discussing the prospects of performing in the WWE.
I also asked Jake about his chances of appearing in Undisputed, the new boxing video game that currently has Canelo Alvarez, Tyson Fury, Terence Crawford, and others included. Paul paused before saying, “there’s conversations” about being in the game, but he didn’t give more details.
Undisputed recently released its career mode during early access. If they can add Jake Paul to the roster of fighters, it will bring another set of eyes to the title.
